If you are a Stone Barrington fan, you will enjoy this book for what it is. A bit predictable but fast and entertaining. There were some new characters in this one which I found interesting.

I prefer Grisham's legal thrillers better than these murder mystery type stories that he has been doing, but it's still Grisham and it was still pretty good.

I'm enjoying this new series by Stuart Woods. This is the 4th book and the best so far I think. Less sex and more action than the Barrington books and I like the change.

This isn't one of Clark's better books. It's a bit predictable, but still a decent story. Worth reading for sure.

I've always loved mysteries in a historical setting and Anne Perry is one of my reliable authors for this. This book felt a little different to her previous ones but I really enjoyed the story and the great setting.

My favourite book so far this year. You don't have to work in advertising to enjoy this. It is super readable and looks at many of the biggest ad campaigns over the years and why they worked. It also talks about how advertisers are attempting to reach you when they create a campaign. It was nostalgic, informative, entertaining and fascinating. My favourite book so far this year. This author does a great job weaving historical fact with fiction in this book which is set during the Civil Rights movement in the 60's. Fabulous. Possibly better than Natchez Burning. It has a complex multi- layered plot and was intensely interesting. Do yourself a favour and read Natchez Burning First. After reading and enjoying Gods of Gotham by the same author, I was pleased to find this book which takes place in the same setting with the same main character. This was a great mystery and a very interesting time period in New York City history.
