Important note for those placing MeL requests: It's required to use your ENTIRE library card number, including the letters ALCO at
the beginning, when placing a MeL hold online. Even though no two patrons in the Alcona County system have the
same 5-digit ID number, the system that processes hold requests is much wider than just our county. Your library card number may exactly
match someone else's in Michigan if you leave off the first 4 letters, which will confuse the system.
