Very disappointed in this book after reading "Next Year in Havana". The book is 344 pages and could have been 149 if the author had not repeated the basic storyline 50 times. I think she succeeded with the Havana book and had a few ideas that she tried to stretch out into another book when it could have been a short story. There was some history from the 60's that was good filler, more interesting than the storyline.
Set in the 1960s during the Cuban Revolution, this book is everything I love about historical fiction from this period. Political intrigue, espionage, a super smart heroine and a saucy romance.
