Add a CommentA pretty good book! I would definitely recommend you read Dragon Rider(the first book) before this one. It is definitely better, and worth the read. Overall, even though I liked the first one better, this book was an enjoyable fantasy about a group trying to get a magical feather from a griffin(a VERY violent creature) to save the last three Pegasus foals in the world.

YA story of wild-life conservationist family specializing in fabulous species--in this case, working to save the last pegusi. Adventure story in which the leading characters are mostly non-human, and decidedly eccentric. A good choice for Harry Potter fans who like the mythic creatures.
