Thorough, readable, heartfelt, and insightful. Dr. Derocher has the privilege of being one of Canada's leading polar bear scientists, yet he still comes off as an ordinary guy ... an ordinary guy who's in love with bears. A pleasure to read.

All a person needs to know about polar bears by a researcher. Great pictures.
