As with any collection of works, I enjoyed some pieces more than others, and some resonated with me more than others. But I think that's the beauty of a book like this. It is diverse in voice, experience, and vehicle.

I love this book. It is beautifully written, allowing each contributor’s personality and style to shine through. We have interviews, essays, lists, the this is fine meme, sheet music, poetry... whoever you are, there’s a piece about political engagement, activism, and/or resistance here for you. And the diversity of the voices is so cool. The diversity of topics and types of encouragement! Helpful, intelligent, kind, and hopeful. Good read for not only YA, but also for any adults who want a intelligent political book that isn’t so dense or pretentious.
