Saw it for a second time (!) , by accident.
But I was still entertained by this sharply-scripted well-crafted tightly-edited above average revenge action vehicle. It delivers what's promised. Could well be studied by itinerant film makers who want to learn how to work the numbers with panache.

This is a predictable “action” film that not even the always-charismatic Dwayne Johnson can save. Also, I would have preferred the alternative ending.

Slightly above average take on the classic revenge tale. The Rock storms around shooting bad guys (he is a bad guy himself, which always adds to my enjoyment. I love an anti-hero) with a big gun and driving a great looking automobile. There are a few unexpected twists, but mostly one would watch this for the action scenes, which are well done. Don't looked to be wowed by plot and you will be entertained by this action movie.

A man began to avenge his brother's murder moments after released from jail. Though somewhat tired formula, the fresh characters and circumstances make for a good crime and action movie.

"Could you smell what the Rock is cooking"? Loved the Rock-Dwayne Johnson. It was O.K for a home movie. I was entertained.

Pretty standard revenge actioner in which all the usual suspects attempt to show us yet again what rough-tough he-men they are. Watch out for one rather innovative scene involving a reunion with a preacher.
