Janessa McNeil's husband, Brock, a researcher and professor at Stanford University's Department of Medicine, specializes in tick-borne illnesses - particularly Lyme Disease. He insists that Chronic Lyme Disease doesn't exist, even as patients across the country are getting sicker. Now, Brock's committee is about to announce its latest findings, which will close the door to treatment.

One embittered man sets out to prove Dr. McNeil wrong by giving him a close--up view of the disease he denies by infecting Janessa. He demands that she convince her husband to publicly reverse his stand on Lyme - or their young daughter will be next.

Take a look at the trailer for this book. It may draw you in.

This book was very interesting and sheds light on realities in medical research. It was a page turner, so it was entertaining; (I finished it in one day because I just had to know what happened)

I did not like how the mystery ended... the ending was very weak. The story was built up but fell flat at the end.

However, this was my first book by this author and I believe she has the gift of drawing the reader in; so ill read another book from her in the future.
