My 10 year old daughter really enjoyed this book.

This is great animal fantasy-mice who only dress up when they aren't in the company of their adults but who live in a universe that mirrors that of the human world. While sending Olive on a ship to Europe to search for a husband, the entire family of mice have a wonderful adventure and each finds a treasure! This would be a perfect family read-aloud.

Interesting language, and an amusing idea for a story, but lacking in that everything was too perfect in the end, and although I liked Helena, I found the changes in her were too quick, while others in her family were underdeveloped.
