This is a heartwarming story of love between humans and nature. Lu is an orphan boy. He has been taken in by a poor gentleman that is being paid to help a scientists capture a panda cub. Lu rescues, hides and cares for this cub. This is a G rated movie in Mandarin with English subtitles. The plot is simple and predictable but the message is compelling. The striking cinematography of the mountains in the Sichuan Providence of China and filming of Panda’s in the wild is a priceless.

This is a pleasant tale of a boy who protects a panda cub from a scientist wanting to capture the cub.

The Mandarin audio with English subtitles make this children's movie a good way for those who know basic Mandarin, to practise / learn more.

Tho it's in Chinese, there is not much dialogue. Plus, there are subtitles in English. A very good, and moving, movie.
