Add a CommentRick showed the country, the people and the background of the politics. Pretty impressive job. The country is amazing and I am so glad I have real images in my mind now. The Iranian people consistently said our governments have problems but we love Americans, people to people there are no problems. Good to remember when we hear about the fringe nuts that seem to be the main representatives of this country in the news media
Easily the most informative show I've even watched on Iran. Rick, as usual, does a beautiful, balanced, report on what he sees and experiences. Man, this is a gorgeous and charismatic country and one has to see this show to see how the West (the USA and Israel) try their best to vilify the people. But, as Rick says in his lecture ( watch the movies' special features) to folks at the U of W, what politicians want is to to shore up their support. Rick's conversations with the average Iranian citizen prove that they just want to get along with the American people and get on with their lives.
