I turned this in the Monday before Halloween....You have this book...
Investigative reporter Catherine McLeod is driven to do a good job. This is made difficult when an anonymous caller won't meet with her. The twist in this story is that we know who the murderer is early in the book; and we read/watch her finesse the entire situation and set up the "perfect suspect". I enjoyed this book and look forward to more featuring Catherine. But, Margaret Coel, please keep the Wind River series going too.
This is a so-so murder mystery. Too many convenient coincidences, too many guesses by the characters that just happen to be right and a foregone conclusion make the story unbelievable. Easy read.
This was a great thriller about a reporter who follows a lead that leads her to help catch an unconventional killer who is a bit crazy. While this is a different type of story than Coel's other series, I enjoyed finding more about Catherine McLeod. This is a winning story about a fascinating woman.
