I love this series, but this one was a little meh for me. It mostly just talks you through an experiment for growing seeds, and what the seeds might look like at different stages of development. The growing is done in eggshells. Since my daughter is allergic to eggs, we can't really do it. Too bad.

A useful first science book for preschool through K. Conversational and clear, the author guides the reader through a simple experiment with bean seeds.
