After the death of both of her parents, Ava Morgan decided to move back into the old family homestead. Doing just that, she brought her sister Connie with her. Their oldest brother Sam and his wife, Tess, move into the guest house. Sam and Tess hadn’t lived in Oakland, Michigan, since their baby daughter Sarah had disappeared from a shopping mall sixteen years earlier. Everything seems to be looking up when unexplained things begin to happen—sudden coldness in rooms, items being moved around, and even winds blowing unexpectedly through rooms. Not only are the Morgans determined to find out who could be haunting their family home, but they try to solve why it’s being haunted in the first place. Their search leads them to discovering not only whose spirits are in their home, but why. Could these spirits be trying to tell them something about Sarah?
