It's best to read this series in order since there are important references and characters from past books. This third book in the series is very entertaining with some fascinating science introduced as usual. This one includes how bones react to fire and includes a scandal involving a crematorium that doesn't! Based slightly on the actual Georgia case where the crematorium was not cremating remains.

kept my attention. Hero Dr. Brockton's nemesis is after him for revenge. Meanwhile, Brockton also finds that a facility is scattering bodies instead of cremating them.
