What a creep. Glad someone brought to light what a self-absorbed loser Michael Moore is.

Melnyk & Caine's mission is to try to "expose" Moore's message as "fake news". If this was true, he'd be spending all his time in court defending himself from the lawyers of the richest of the 1%. Moore's mission is to expose the truth, not alter it or hide it.
Melnyk & Caine are right-wing libertarians, who hold libertarian political philosophies that advocate civil liberties, natural law, laissez-faire capitalism, private property rights and a major reversal of the modern welfare state === totally ANTI-Moore-truth-telling!

The makers of this documentary, the couple Nick Caine and Debbie Melnyk, are no Conservatives; they are self-described Liberals to whom Michael Moore is “someone we liked.” Originally this documentary was to be Moore’s biography. The documentary was shot during Moore’s tour “Slacker Uprising” (2004 get-out-the-vote). But as they followed their hero, they became “disappointed and disillusioned” with his so many lies and unethical behavior that it evolved to an exposé. During the tour Moore had agreed to a sitting down interview with the couple “after the election,” but just as Michael Moore portrays in “Roger and Me,” Moore ignored voice-mails, emails and requests to be interviewed. Life imitates art? The couple nevertheless followed him during his US promotion of “Fahrenheit 9/11.” But they started being barred from events; they could not plug in to the soundboard at one of the events; finally Mr. Moore’s sister knocked their camera down and kicked them out of the premise. Moore doesn’t seem to enjoy when his own technique of throwing a camera at people’s faces to make them look bad, is turned on him… Unlike in Moore’s one-sided “documentaries,” the couple recorded critics and supporters alike. Their documentary reveals that Moore asked friend Jim Musselman, who worked on “Roger and Me,” to hide the fact that he interviewed Roger Smith (GM Motors) twice; Moore would have said: “I can make it look like anything I want. It’ll just go on the cutting-room floor.” His charitable foundation owns shares in the same industries he demonizes, one of them being Halliburton; and Moore is not the blue-color he advertises, but lives a luxurious life, that which he condemns on others. For Moore’s friend Sam Riddle (Democratic Party consultant) “he can be a bit megalomaniacal at times, with a paranoid tinge.” And according to Christopher Hitches (hardly a Conservative), More has “been found to have fabricated, or invented—carpentered—a number of distortions and outright lies into his narrative.” Documentarian Albert Maysles argues that Moore is “entertaining us with propaganda [and] so did Hitler.” When during an interview for “Canadian Bacon” the interviewer criticized his movie, Moore dropped the acting and showed himself as he really is. The documentary unfortunately does not analyze all Moore’s “documentaries”—probably because it would have to be turned it into a long, long series of documentaries!

Moore’s fans are looking for more facts and they love his style of humor where he makes fun of the greedy, powerful, and ignorant sectors of American society. His fans are quite aware that he uses hyperbole to bolster the humor. His fans also know that 40% of Bush’s tax cuts went to the richest 1% of the population. They know that in 2000 the Supreme Court selected Bush as president by a 5-4 decision. They know that the Supreme Court basically said that the 1% (or 0.01%) can buy elections. They know that the Bush administration got us into the War on Iraq under false pretenses. They also know that before the Affordable Care Act, health insurance companies could charge whatever and drop and deny coverage whenever. They know that the gun corporations want to sell assault weapons to every home in America and let the bodies fall wherever. “Dissent” already exists. It does not need to be “manufactured.”
