I mostly rate business books. Why am I reviewing The Lemonade War? Well, this book has a lot of hidden business and salesmen tactics inside. The intriguing plot plus the tactics makes this book a worthwhile read. For instance - how can giving lemonade practically for free help a business grow? Read more to find out ;)

I read this book a while back when I was in 5th grade and thought I should reread it because, I’ll be honest, I forgot what it was about. The main thing I remembered was that it was the first book I willingly read and no one forced me to read it. And now that I’ve reread it, I remember why I read the whole series! The book is so enjoyable to read, it is really simple but yet so relatable as I am a younger sister myself. Also, it’s a really quick book to read, I finished it in a couple of hours. It is honestly a great book and everyone could enjoy it.

I wonder if Tess would like this. We sure did!

The Lemonade War is about a sibling rivalry to sell the most money off their own lemonade stand. Every summer I dream of making quite a bit of money selling lemonade, and every summer, I never make more than 7 dollars. This book taught me that if I wish to sell high-profit lemonade, I need to apply more selling factices.

This is a very good book! I read it every summer and never get tired of it. I really like how its put together and I think it would be interesting for all readers. Like some siblings fight over something (or over nothing) Jesse and Evan are in the same situation and seem to be not getting along at that point, but at the end they get it back together. I love this story. It also reminds me of how I sell Lemonade every summer :) Enjoy the book!

"For a full hour, he poured lemonade. The world is a thirsty place, he thought as he nearly emptied his fourth pitcher of the day. And I am the Lemonade King."
