The best of the series so far, cutting to the core of degradation of upper crust London. Pitt learns who killed a young man, but it's not the accused, and he has no way of proving who the man who did. Interestingly, Pitt is learning whom he should honor and trust among the elite, and for the most part it's women like his wife Charlotte. Again, Perry shows us the differences between the poverty stricken and those who think they have everything, and yet have nothing at all.

Heavy but good. The experiences of the tutor, the misunderstandings of vague euphemism are tortuous.
