Add a CommentRosalind Laker managed to craft an absolutely beautiful novel that was well-written and thoroughly researched! The entertainment industry is oversaturated with
works that depict the French Revolution and/or Versailles, but Laker's book is refreshing because it is written from the point of view of several generations of women who
range from commoners to courtiers in King Louis XIV's court. Her elegant voice permeates the story, and will leave the reader in awe of her talent!
