Personally really enjoyed this book. It had been a while since I had read any of the Millennium Series but was able to pick up with characters etc. with no problem but felt it could be a stand alone novel. Loved that the "mystery" of the…

I would like to see all the naysayers try to write a novel so I could criticize their efforts. Lagercrantz does an absolutely superb continuation of this series that are better than the original trilogy!

Felt like this book completely missed the point of the previous ones in the series. Reading it almost felt like a betrayal of the characters from the first three books. So, after finishing it I did some googling and found the story of how…

This book is as good as the other Lisbeth salander stories.

I enjoyed it. The switching back and forth in time irked me a bit, then accepted it...what else could I do? Forever I will envision the film portrayal by Mara as Lisbeth, it's just embedded in my mind. I too, liked the twins references.

Salander's serving a term for murder in Sweden's highest-security women's prison, because she refused to defend herself in court. That doesn't keep her safe, nor a young Arab woman who's at risk from an Islamist family. Salander is under…

"salander looked around. it was a single-room apartment with a small kitchen, sparsely furnished . apart from the sofa and chest of drawers, there was a loft bed and a low table. clothes were strewn everywhere. a hockey stick was…

I waited a long time after Stieg Larrson died because I loved the Lisbeth Salander and Mikael Blomkvist series. I was afraid I would be disappointed with a new author... This edition is quite good and manages to continue and elaborate on…

The idea of Project 9 and experimentation on raising Twins separately and together was interesting but i felt that they really missed not going into depth with Camilla and Lisbeth. Again, Lisbeth's super strength and massive brain power…

Where spider was good this is better. The flow is much easier and doesn't seemed hurried. More like the Dragon, but could be a little slower yet. Even though it was a good read in still felt as though some things were passed over. Still…

My slight disappointment in this book is minimal compared to other reviews here and I can sum mine up by just admitting that I didn't enjoy this one as much as the previous four books in the series. Having said that, it is definitely…

Wow, the negative to vitriolic comments here are surprising to me. It takes a certain kind of confidence and significant skill and heart to write a book at all, much less to take on the challenge of continuing a series like the Millenium…

Definitely worthwhile reading for fans of the Millennium series. Pretty good plot, absorbed in all the familiar characters and content. A good-enough read, but the writing is very pedestrian. He's no Stieg Larsson.

Shocked at how poorly this book was written, as with the 4th book, it takes almost the first half of the book to get interested. Who cares about the Millenium magazine? Who cares about a Islamic family living in Sweeden with family…

Not much to add in the comments section- possible poor translation, stilted or wooden sentence structure. Easily not enough about Lisbeth Salinger. When the action finally starts, though, it proceeds nicely, proving that the author can…

This was better than the 4th novel but it still pales in comparison to Larsson's longer original trilogy. Perhaps some things were lost in translation. Lagercrantz's layman depiction of prison, hackers and A.I. are simply not credible so…

Loved it as much as or perhaps even better that the other books in the series. The author/translator has a better grasp of English than the original author and so it reads more smoothly. The other books were also very good but somewhat…

Better than #4, but still weak. The author takes the "Tom Clancy" approach to action, that is taking a straight forward plot and substituting historical narrative, and changing character viewpoints as a substitute for straight forward…

also agree with previous comments. Interesting plot but poorly written, repetitive 'cues' and annoying tagents.

As other here feel, this author's interpretation of the original concept leaves much to be desired, his style of writing included. I find his manner of storytelling pedestrian lacking creativity and style. He also tends to include details…

A stilted and unemotional story that is unfortunately moving further and further away from the shocking and brutal genius of the originals.

I'm glad to see the Stieg Larsson series continue but this one is a bit of a bust. Salander is a fascinating character but here she is just a shadow of herself. We get too much of other characters and not enough Salander and her…

The Lisbeth Sanders mysteries continue, and I like the new author better. This story didn’t seem quite as violent as the first two. Lisbeth has retained her cold uncaring iceberg of a personality, but as in the other books, she is a strong…
