Good premise. Would've been better without Stephen King. I don't know who finds domestic violence entertaining or other sadism. Fast forwarded over large stretches of some episodes. Could've cut the 8-hour series by at least half if it…

I am not a fan of Stephen King, but I have to admit the book "11.22.63" and this video series are very, very good. Time travel stories always fascinate me, and this is one of the best. Being Stephen King he had to include two very…

I saw a recent PBS feature on the JFK assassination and found it intriguing. This mini-series in eight episodes lasts 429 minutes. I enjoyed every second. Hail, Steven King...victorious!

I enjoyed this min-series very much. It’s all about nostalgia and answering all of those questions about what if you could change something in the past. Overall, this is worth your time to watch it all. The book is indeed better, but…

Watching the series, LHO and another CIA agent in the grassy Knowles were responsible, its funny after the shots were fired, a crowd of kids ran towards the grassy area, while agents take off toward the BD? Just found a discarded photo of…

A well-crafted, well-acted, time-traveling drama in which a burned-out high school teacher travels back to save JFK. With surprising and delightful twists and turns, I enjoyed this entertaining fantasy to the last moment.

King’s distaste for Dallas (and the accuracy with which he depicts it - see, “Dallas, Public & Private” by Warren Leslie, 1964) is a driving force of the novel not well transported to the screen. It’s more than ‘history’ pushing back on…

Entertaining, although every time I heard the line "it's the past pushing back" I wanted to throw something at the screen. Ultimately the series is a love story set within speculative history. Enjoyed the chemistry between Jake and Sadie.

I have a complex relationship with Stephen King’s long winded, pointless diversion loaded books. In this case I found the whole thing a step too far and was shocked and offended at the suggestion that if J F K had survived, our world would…

I found this rather dumb. I could not stay focused and found the whole theme of this series boring and unstimulating. Turned it off after 15 minutes.

I loved the book and am afraid to watch this in case it ruins it. But from a comment below, I think it was filmed in Small Town Ontario, so I think I will give it a shot.

a trivialization of one of the most traumatizing events of my generation, with all the profundity of a comic strip, and a couple only of performances to bring some degree of dignity to this otherwise sorry project

steve believes that a man named oswald killed a man named kennedy so he takes off from there. the journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step. make sure that one is an accurate one, or you'll produce horse manure. YOU--that…

Stephen King has been described as the big mac and fries of literature but after watching most of this I think he's the three stale french fries with a diluted coke and ice of pop culture. In other words, dregs. When sci fi meets horror…

I enjoyed this series. I especially liked Lee Harvey Oswald's character in this Thought he was great, and his interaction with his co-actors. I always thought, 'What would have happened if JFK was not shot?' This offers possibilities.…

Excellent series. Held my interest while binge watching. Anything with the Kennedy assassination is worth a look. Great supporting cast. The relationship between Oswald and Marina was done really well and the Franco's love interest was…

This was excellent. A story that actually sees itself through to the end and then completes the answer to the question "what if"?

Adaptations of Stephen King stories are all over the map in terms of quality. This is one of the better efforts. The novel is huge so a miniseries makes sense. Slight changes were made for this TV adaptation and that's fine. King,…

Nice adaptation of King's novel. James Franco does a convincing job. Sarah Gadon is a doll, and the plot keeps you glued to the storyline. Nice job overall.

Stephen King is back on my radar! The President Kennedy assassination, a topic of interest to many, drew me to this item in the catalogue. I did not even realise this was a mini-series until I pressed play. This adaption from book to…

This is a pretty good adaptation of the excellent Stephen King book- it doesn't go as far as King does but it gets the basic idea right. One thing about the series was that the lead James Franco very often seems to be on the verge of…
